True Liberation

True Liberation

As the night fell, the Shire’s inhabitants and Pamela gathered around a large bonfire. The flames shot high into the sky, casting a warm glow over the group. Pamela began to share her spiritual journey, captivating the audience with tales of her metamorphosis. She spoke of her exploration of the Seven Mystical Towers of the Unborn, and how it had changed her life forever.

The group listened intently as Pamela shared her experiences with Evan, before he was initiated into the august body of the Black Dragons. She spoke of the exotic and strange spiritual weapon of the Phurba that Evan had left her with. The children were particularly curious about the mystical dagger and begged Pamela to show it to them. She agreed, but warned them not to touch it. The children’s eyes widened in wonderment as the Phurba played off the light of the bonfire.

As the night wore on, the group continued to listen to Pamela’s stories. They were fascinated by her journey and the spiritual awakening that she had experienced. The warmth of the fire and the sound of Pamela’s voice created a sense of peace and tranquility. It was a magical moment, and one that the group would never forget.

Pamela, now a wise and enlightened teacher, imparted upon them all the profound significance of spiritual discernment and liberation in the Unborn Mind. She emphasized that those who seek to uncover the radiant and original essence of this unborn nature must recognize that all apparent phenomena are transient and devoid of this essence. However, they hold a powerful allure and fascination for the deluded and desiring mind. It is at this juncture that the gateless gate opens, revealing the immortal and indestructible nirvana-element. This is where one is said to enter the dark and mysterious principle of the Unborn Mind Essence, transcending worldly conceptual understanding and confirming its absolute reality.

To prepare for the ultimate liberation, one must tranquilize the mind. For most, this tranquility arises through the continuous expansion of the six great paramitas of the mind. These paramitas go beyond the boundaries of life and death, just as the Mind itself transcends them. By entering the realm of the Unborn Mind Essence, one can freely recollect its unborn and indestructible nature, experiencing the perfect nirvana-element. This recollection brings about freedom from the suffering that afflicts the deluded and worldly. Therefore, Pamela urged them not to squander their precious time in this realm of darkness and bewitchment. She warned them to be cautious of heretics and imposters of the dharma, as their evil actions condemn both themselves and those they deceive to unimaginable suffering.

In this journey towards liberation, it is crucial to respect all struggling life and, above all, to strive to liberate the luminous and marvelous Bodhichild within oneself. This inner essence does not belong to this world and transcends its limitations. Pamela further encouraged them to use their time wisely in this realm, avoiding excessive entanglement with the sensory awareness and its cognitive interactive world. By doing so, they can avoid creating a body of suffering and impermanence. The path to liberation requires vigilance and discernment, as the allure of the world can easily lead one astray.

Pamela’s audience beseeched her to elaborate on the six paramitas, desiring a deeper understanding of their essence and the path to attain them. In response, Pamela gracefully expounded on each paramita, enlightening her listeners with her profound wisdom.

She began with generosity, a noble practice that leads to liberation. Generosity entails selflessly giving of one’s body, possessions, and merits. By fulfilling the hopes of living beings and dispelling avarice, one becomes confident, fearless, and esteemed by all. This virtuous act not only benefits others but also brings inner peace and contentment.

Next, Pamela delved into ethics, another paramount practice on the path to liberation. Ethics purify the effects of evil actions and the influence of negative emotions. By upholding proper ethics, one gains reverence and respect from all people. It is through ethical conduct that one can gather others without resorting to threats or force, fostering harmony and unity among all.

Patience, Pamela proclaimed, is an exceptional attribute possessed by the mighty. It is a practice that leads to liberation, especially for those plagued by negative emotions. Patience serves as a powerful weapon against the formidable enemy of anger and shields one from the harm caused by hurtful words. Recognizing its significance, Pamela emphasized the cultivation and practice of patience through every available means.

In her discourse, Pamela also emphasized the importance of firm and unremitting effort. This practice, she explained, allows the qualities of learning and understanding to flourish continuously. Through dedicated effort, all endeavors become meaningful, and every task is completed in alignment with the desired goal. Bodhisattvas, she revealed, harness a great force of effort to dispel any trace of laziness.

Pamela expounded on meditation, a practice that leads to liberation by granting complete control over the mind. When one settles into meditation, they attain the power of peace and stability. Emerging from this state, one can engage in virtuous actions effortlessly, experiencing a profound sense of well-being. Pamela also emphasized the significance of contemplation, as it eradicates the formidable enemy of distraction, allowing one to delve deeper into the realms of wisdom.

Lastly, Wisdom, the divine essence, gracefully discerns the depths of profound union with the Unborn. It is the exquisite artistry that ultimately and flawlessly eradicates the cyclic existence of samsara. This celestial gift, a veritable trove of virtuous treasures, bestows upon us the power to achieve greatness and fulfillment.

Pamela’s response on the nature of the six paramitas was truly remarkable. Her words were filled with eloquence and carried a sense of wisdom and grace that captivated her listeners. As she spoke, it was evident that she had a deep understanding of these noble practices and her insights resonated with everyone seated around the bonfire, their faces ablaze with this newfound wisdom.

With each word, Pamela guided her listeners towards a deeper understanding of the six paramitas. She skillfully explained the essence of these practices, shedding light on their significance and how they could be applied in everyday life. Her eloquence and clarity made it easy for her audience to grasp the concepts and see the relevance of these teachings in their own journeys.

Pamela’s response was not just informative, but also transformative. Her words had a profound impact on her listeners, inspiring them to reflect on their own actions and motivations. Through her eloquence and grace, she created a space for introspection and growth, encouraging her audience to embrace these noble practices and incorporate them into their lives. Pamela’s response was a testament to her wisdom and her ability to guide others towards a deeper understanding of the six paramitas—a true source of liberation of mind and spirit.
