Amitabha: The Magician of the Lotus

The wisdom of Amitābha Buddha is truly remarkable and sets him apart from other Buddhas. His wisdom is depicted in the color red and arises from the western quadrant. This wisdom is not just any ordinary wisdom, but rather it is the spiritual certitude of a Blessed Tathagata. Amitābha Buddha is often depicted with his folding hands mudra, known as Dhyāna-mudrá, in a meditative-style. This posture symbolizes his inner-vision and spiritual clarity.
Ratnasambhava: the Magician of the Precious Jewel

Agnes and Pamela were enveloped in a mesmerizing symphony of wind as it gracefully danced through the air. The gentle caress of the breeze soon transformed into a tempest, obscuring their vision with a cascade of golden sand dunes that stretched as far as the eye could see. The ethereal beauty of the landscape captivated their senses, leaving them in awe of nature’s grandeur.

Akshobhya: the Magician of the Sacred Vajra
As Agnes and Pamela embarked on their spiritual odyssey, they understood the significance of meditation in their journey towards the Heart of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. With closed eyes and tranquil minds, they allowed themselves to be enveloped by the ethereal energy emanating from the sacred mandala. The intricate details of the mandala seemed to come alive, whispering ancient wisdom and secrets of the universe. In this state of deep introspection, they prepared themselves for the profound experience that awaited them in the mystical realm of the Five Dhyani Buddhas.

The Origin of the Jikininki

The Origin of the Jikininki
Cadmus, once hailed as a valiant and esteemed warrior in the kingdom of the Shire, had dedicated his life to protecting his people from any harm that threatened their safety. Fearlessly, he fought battles and faced adversaries, always putting the needs of his fellow townspeople above his own. However, as time went by, Cadmus couldn’t help but notice the self-centered and avaricious nature of those he had sworn to defend. They would readily seek his assistance, yet never extend a hand in return. This lack of gratitude and appreciation began to gnaw at Cadmus, gradually filling him with a deep-seated resentment and bitterness towards the very people he had once fought so fiercely to safeguard.
The Hermitage

Pamela was aware that she needed help to uncover the root cause of the curse that had befallen the Shire. She knew that there was only one person who could best provide her with the necessary assistance. Her dear friend, Agnes.
Mara Strikes

As the bonfire crackled and danced, casting flickering shadows across the faces of the gathered crowd, a sinister presence seemed to materialize within the flames. The once warm and inviting fire now held a foreboding aura, as an immense and malevolent face emerged from its depths. The face that stared back at the onlookers was nothing short of terrifying, its malevolence palpable even from a distance. It belonged to none other than Mara, the embodiment of all things wicked and vile. With a voice sending terror into the hearts of all who heard it, Mara declared its malevolent intentions, proclaiming to be the very source of the darkness that plagued their world. Its words hung heavy in the air, filling the hearts of those present with a chilling sense of dread.

A Darkness Cometh

MEET THE BUDDHAS: BOOK TWO OF THE UNBORN ODYSSEY SERIES
Preface to Meet the Buddhas
In the stillness between breaths, where the world hums with unseen currents, there whispers a truth older than time: Liberation lies not in escaping the shadows, but in
illuminating them. This tale unfolds in the Shire—a tranquil haven of rolling hills and blooming meadows, where the scent of bread and the songs of birds weave a fragile peace.
Yet beneath its idyllic surface, a darkness festers, a reflection of the suffering that binds all beings in samsara. Into this quiet crucible step Pamela and Agnes—two seekers drawn by
fate to confront a curse born of ancient resentment, their path lit by five radiant guides: the Dhyani Buddhas, timeless emanations of the Unborn Mind.
